My background.
Naval service
I served in the Turkish Navy as an anti-submarine warfare officer. Later, I worked in public relations, communications and filmmaking. I wrote and directed films for the Navy, including the one below.
Starting again in the United States
I retired in 2017 and moved to the United States in 2018. My work moved into consulting and marketing. I went on to found UPMAX, then CabinetBoost, SteelBoost and GetPRBoost.
Business ownership
Most of my marketing experience comes from kitchen and bath showrooms, cabinet businesses and related home-improvement companies. My work covers advertising, websites and what happens after a customer gets in touch.
I live in Long Beach, California, and work in English and Turkish.
My focus: customer conversations.
Getting someone to click an ad is only part of marketing. Someone on the team still needs to answer the inquiry, understand the customer’s situation and follow up.
That is the business context I bring to AI. I’m interested in whether a draft helps a person respond, whether a summary leaves out something important, and whether the team can use the process without adding more work.
